Dr. S. Lewis Johnson

Dr. S. Lewis JohnsonDr. S. Lewis Johnson was born in Birmingham, AL. and grew up in Charleston, SC, graduating from College of Charleston with an A.B. degree in 1937. He was converted in Birmingham while in the insurance business through the teaching of Dr. Donald Grey Barnhouse. He left the insurance business in 1943 to enter Dallas Theological Seminary from which he graduated in 1946 with a Th. M. degreee and in 1949 with a Th. D. degree.

Dr. Johnson was Professor of New Testament from 1950 to 1972 and Professor of Systematic Theology from 1972 to 1977 at Dallas Theological Seminary. He served as Professor of Biblical and Systematic Theology at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School at Deerfield, IL and also was Visiting Professor of Systematic Theology at Tyndale Theological Seminary, Amsterdam, Netherlands. He accomplished graduate work at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland, SMU, Dallas and the University of Basel, Switzerland. Dr Johnson was engaged in pastoral ministry for about 45 years. He went to be with the Lord on January 28, 2004.

Mr. Dan Duncan

Mr. Dan Duncan was born in Kansas City, Missouri and grew up in Richardson, Texas. he was raised in a Christian home and came to faith in Christ as a young boy. Mr. Duncan graduated from Texas Christian University in 1971, Dallas Theological Seminary in 1976 and did post-graduate study at the hebrew University in Jerusalem. He has attended Believers Chapel since 1967 and has been involved in the ministry at the Chapel since 1974. Aside from pastoral ministry, Mr. Duncan is the primary teacher for the Ministry of the Word service on Sunday mornings.

Dr. William J. McRae

Dr. William J. McRae was born and raised in Toronto, Canada, where he became a believer in Jesus Christ in his early teens. He is a graduate of Emmaus bible School, 1954; Toronto Teachers College, 1955; Queens University, 1966; and Dallas Theological Seminary, 1970, 1983. A former school teacher, Dr. McRae has been engaged in a Bible teaching and pastoral ministry for the past twenty-seven years in Canada and the United States. From 1966 to 1975 he was involved in a pastoral and Bible teaching ministry in Believers Chapel. Since 1982 he has been president of Ontario Bible College and Ontario Theological Seminiary in Toronto, Canada.

Dr. Haddon Robinson

Dr. Haddon Robinson is the Harold John Ockenga Distinguished Professor of Preaching at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. A native of New York City, Dr. Robinson has completed graduate studies at Dallas Theological Seminary (Th. M., 1955), Southern Methodist University (M.A., 1960), and University of Illionois (Ph. D., 1964). He has served on the faculty of Dallas Theological Seminary, as President of Denver Conservative Baptist Seminary, and General Director of Christian Medical and Dental Society. He is currently the teacher of Radio Bible Class. Dr. Robinson is the author of six books and is widely published in Christian periodicals.

Dr. Bruce K. Waltke

Dr. Bruce K. Waltke is an Old Testament scholar, with doctorates from Dallas Theological Seminary (Th.D.) and Harvard University (Ph.D.). His writings and publications include, "Introduction to Biblical Hebrew Syntax", "Finding the Will of God: A Pagan Notion?" and commentaries on the books of Micah, Genesis, and Proverbs. He served as Old Testament editor for the "Expositor's Bible Commentary", the "New Geneva Study Bible", the "Spirit of the Reformation Study Bible", and co-edited the "Theological Wordbook of the Old Testament". Dr. Waltke is a member of the "New International Version" and "Today's New International Version" translation committees. He served a term as president of the Evangelical Theological Society. His "Old Testament" professorships include Dallas Theological Seminary, Westminster Theological Seminary and Regent College. He most recently has been professor emeritus of "Biblical Studies" at Regent College.
